To sew or not to sew!!!

Just wanted to share with my blog world a few things i have been working on… recently i have made an vintage style apron that goes to the hip. (this is my 1st using a pattern..) thanks Kari for modeling and thanks avalon for providing bread for this photo shoot! I also have been sewing some covers for our couch pillows! (Thank u couch for modeling the pillows!)

Fabulous weekend!

Had a super fun weekend… celebrated the soon arrival of Mo & Freddies lil guy! Lots of yummy food and a fun time hanging out w/ new and old friends!  Then headed to help set up hickory farms at Oakland mall… but wasnt needed for more than a half an hour!!! So so thankful! Saturday i worked, sewed a pillow cover and finished a new style apron (pictures to come) and hung out with kari and ate frostys! And then on Sunday i went with Netta to Hamtramck an got to see tons of smiley faces and hug on tons of kids! Seriously did not realize how much i missed everyone.. thankful i will be seeing them more… then sunday night was a sewing class with jennifer- she is super fabulous! We are learning a quilting technique which is super cool! In honor of going to hamtramck my hair decided to stick up straight… here is a pic after i straightened, blew tried w/ brush, hair sprayed and straightening cream.. and it is still sticking up! I had to call in the bobby pins to control this mess… lol! (and can’t figure out how to rotate.. oh the joys of blogging from your phone
